Hi, I’m Julie, the creator behind Eat Well Style Well.
I’m a wife, mom, grandma, business owner, traveler, foodie, fitness lover, and self-proclaimed perfectionist. Life is busy, chaotic, and sometimes downright exhausting—but I truly believe it’s possible to build a life filled with great food, beautiful spaces, meaningful relationships, and unforgettable adventures.
My husband is my best friend, and after all these years, we still do just about everything together. Whether we’re exploring a new country, trying a local restaurant, walking our two spoiled boxer dogs, or squeezing in our weekly date night, we genuinely enjoy spending time together.
Speaking of food… I’m a foodie through and through.
In fact, food can absolutely make or break a vacation for me. While my husband is usually focused on finding the healthiest option on the menu, I’m the one searching for the local favorites, hidden gems, amazing desserts, and unforgettable dining experiences. Don’t get me wrong—I care about healthy living, too—but I firmly believe life is meant to be enjoyed, and good food is one of life’s greatest pleasures.
When I’m not working or planning our next adventure, you’ll usually find me at home. I’m definitely a homebody unless I’m traveling. Give me a cozy night at home over crowded stores any day. I do most of my shopping online because it’s easier, faster, and honestly, I’d rather spend that time doing almost anything else.
Home is important to me, and so is keeping it organized. My family will tell you I’m a bit obsessive when it comes to cleanliness and organization. I like everything in its place, clutter-free, and looking put together. My husband occasionally rolls his eyes at my need for organization, but he’ll also be the first to admit he loves coming home to a clean, welcoming space.
Health and fitness are also a big part of my life. After multiple hip surgeries, my workouts look a little different these days, but I still make movement a priority. You’ll usually find me lifting weights, practicing yoga or Pilates, walking my dogs, or riding my stationary bike. With a demanding schedule, I don’t always have hours to spend working out, but I do my best to stay active and take care of myself.
Traveling often makes healthy eating and consistent workouts more challenging, but we always try to find balance. We believe you can enjoy incredible food, experience new cultures, and still prioritize your health along the way.
Above all, family is everything to me.
Our children are grown now, and these days our two boxer dogs have happily stepped into the role of our “kids at home.” But becoming grandparents has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. There is truly nothing better than spending time with our kids and grandkids and making memories together.
Well Fed & Well Dressed was created as a place to share the things I love most—travel, food, home decor, healthy living, organization, style, and everyday life.
